You are future servant-leaders.
We educate young men and women to be ambassadors of common good, human rights, justice and peace. In this increasingly borderless world, your responsibility is to think globally, act locally, and to promote solidarity among the community of nations.
Bachelor of Arts major in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs (AB-CDA)
Consular and Diplomatic Affairs
Diplomacy shapes how the world is connected.
In Consular and Diplomatic Affairs, our students examine the interrelations of states, cultures, languages, politics and economies to gain a comprehensive understanding of global affairs. Your multidisciplinary education in social sciences, languages, and humanities primes you to have a mindset for dialogue and to have a sensibility for diverging perspectives.
Our program trains students to become professionals in international relations whose career paths lead to consular and diplomatic posts, and jobs in rights-based public and civil society organizations.
BenildeMUN is a simulation of United Nations conference that is aimed to prepare the students in the art and practice of diplomacy through position paper and resolution writing, negotiating with different governments, public speaking, and critical understanding of international affairs. Students will be representative of a particular country and assigned in particular committee of the UN. They will act as an ‘Ambassador’ carrying their mandates to promote their national interest and foster international cooperation between and among the community of nation – states.
