Applied Deaf Studies
Bachelor in Applied Deaf Studies – Computer Graphics (BAPDST – CG)
This course is for you if you want to create art using digital media to communicate visually.
You will learn to:
- use digital technologies for graphic design, computer imaging and new media design; and
- design and produce print, website, video and photographic content.
The Applied Deaf Studies program empowers Deaf young adults to become productive and active members of society. The program aims to develop Benildean leader-advocates who are competitive, capable, and committed in making positive contributions to their community, industries, and the nation at large.
By developing competitive skills, and expertise, students will be given the confidence and competence to become gainfully employed, perform effectively in the workplace or be able to start their own business.
The Computer Graphics track prepares students for careers related to graphic design and computer imaging. This track is for those who are interested in new media design, communications, and other fields using digital technologies. Students are trained to design and produce photography, print, video and websites.
