SDEAS champions Filipino Deaf identity and culture through its academic offerings, formation programs and by forging partnerships between the Hearing and Deaf community.
We hold close to our hearts the aspirations of the Deaf for holistic development.
Our Deaf students’ academic experience is complemented with programs in personal development, faith formation, leadership training, volunteerism, and self-expression. After graduation, we continue to support Deaf Benildeans in the areas of advocacy, employment, social entrepreneurship and by providing continuous personal and professional development programs.

In Applied Deaf Studies, Deaf individuals are trained to become competent leader advocates for the Filipino Deaf community and in the workplace.
The Deaf Studies program allows you to have an in-depth understanding of the Deaf community, language, identity, and culture. Part of the program is to gain practical skills in the areas of computer graphics, entrepreneurship or business outsourcing. Upon graduation, you can become a deaf leader-advocate, teacher, entrepreneur, or community worker. You can be also employed as a multimedia specialist, graphic and layout artist, web designer,data analyst, finance and administrative associate or hotel and restaurant service associate.
You can also become a Deaf leader, teacher or community worker.

Business Outsourcing Services And Management
This track prepares the Deaf to harness the power of digital computing by learning computer programming. It prepares the students to work in the business outsourcing industry or to work at home. After the graduate, they can work in back office services or at home as data analysts, IT services, non-voice customer care, or even application developers.
